Are you an operational supervisor with a contractor? Then you should have a ‘Veiligheid voor Operationeel Leidinggevenden VCA (VOL-VCA)’ (Safety for Operational Supervisors SCC (SOS-SCC)) diploma. With it, you indicate that you observe safe working practices while at the same time bearing in mind the environment, your own health and that of the employees who you supervise.

Why?
Your employer and the principals want all work to be carried out in a safe manner so that no one suffers an accident. Having attained an VOL- VCA diploma, you know with what requirements you and the operational employees who you supervise have to comply.

What does the VOL- VCA entail?
The VOL- VCA encompasses knowledge of issues such as the applicable (European) legislation and regulations, how to recognize unsafe situations and actions, implementing measures intended to prevent accidents, SCC certification, the company emergency plan and organizing toolbox meetings.

Recognized qualifications
In the case of the VOL- VCA, Belgian and German certificates, diplomas or testimonials bearing the VCA or SCC registered name/logo are accepted as equivalent. Anyone in possession of an 'MVK' or 'HVK' diploma is exempted from the VOL- VCA, subject to the proviso that the holder practices the profession.
